How do I use the weather radar feature?
To access the radar:
- Open the Overdrop app
- Tap on the "Open Radar" button

- Use the layer options to view different data like precipitation, cloud cover, temperature, etc.
- Use the time slider at the bottom to view past and forecasted conditions
How can I add a location?
To add a location:
- Open the Overdrop app
- Tap on the magnifying glass icon on the top right of the weather animation
- Tap the searchbar and type the location name you want to add
- When suggestions pop up, tap on one of the suggested locations
- The app will open the weather page and save the location in the "Saved Locations"
How do I add widgets to my home screen?
On Android:
- Long press on an empty area of your home screen
- Tap "Widgets"
- Find "Overdrop" in the list and tap it
- Choose the grid size you want
- Drag and place it on your home screen
- When the widget gallery opens, click on the button to disable battery optimization (optional but recommended)
- Choose the widget style you want in the widget gallery
On iOS:
- From your home screen, touch and hold a widget or an empty area until the apps jiggle
- Tap the Add button (+) in the upper-left corner
- Search for "Overdrop" in the widget gallery
- Choose a widget and swipe left/right to select a size
- Tap "Add Widget"
- Tap "Done"
Why aren't my widgets updating?
If your widgets aren't updating properly, try these solutions:
- Make sure battery optimization is disabled for Overdrop in your device settings
- Check if background data usage is allowed for the app
- Try removing and re-adding the widget
- Check if you've set an appropriate refresh interval in the app settings
- Restart your device
